Basic Plan Review, Calculating Fees & Required Inspections

This is course 3 of 4 in the Permit Technician Series!

This two-hour course is intended to provide essential information in the areas of code administration, basic residential construction and structural components, standard inspection process, permit fee calculations, basic residential plan review, certificate of occupancy requirements, special inspections and existing structures.

The course is recommended for front counter personnel and those who may be interested in preparing for the 2018 ICC Permit Technician certification exam. Either the 2015 or 2018 IBC can be used.
