The City of Phoenix has an opening for a Mechanical Plans Examiner II!

The primary role of this position is to review and approve advanced designs and specifications for plumbing and mechanical construction plans on commercial buildings to ensure compliance with applicable City codes.  Provides technical advice and assistance to field inspectors, architects, engineers, contractors and City staff regarding compliance, design corrections, and interpretation for complex plumbing/mechanical construction codes and plans.  Performs customer service at a public counter, as needed.
